Heroic Faun No. One

Have you seen this faun?

Heroic Faun No. One was the “unforgettable” (theatreview.co.nz) hit show of the 2009 Auckland Fringe Festival. It is the true story of writer and performer Gregory Cooper’s ordeals as a faun extra in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. For 60 riveting minutes the play gives a hilarious insight into the madness of Hollywood blockbuster-making; from encounters with the film’s major stars to celebrity obsessed extras.
Gregory plays himself and with the use of pictures from the set and clips from the film tells the story of how he from humble beginnings as Paddle Pop the Lion at Auckland Zoo became the most heroic faun in all of Narnia…
